The entry ramp is for cars, esp those with deep front and rear spoilers. It is for use in low-level garages, and comprises a prefab body of concrete or metal, and whose length and width match the difference between the two levels. The surface (3) of the ramp (1) has a trough-shaped flat recess (8) extending for its full width, and forming a concave curve (9), whose length in the lengthwise direction of the ramp corresponds to the mean wheelbase of conventional cars. At its lower end (5) is a hump (6), onto which a threshold joins at the entry end of the ramp. USE/ADVANTAGE - Garage entry ramp is for cars and is designed to avoid damage to spoilers, while avoiding need for increase in space required.
