PURPOSE:To rapidly form the semicircular part for T figure connection at the edge of a pipe by shear-cutting the center of the edge part of the pipe in arcuate form by a punching shear-cut blade and machining the both sides of the pipe edge part in knife form by a cutting blade. CONSTITUTION:An arcuate cutout a1 is drilled on one side close to the edge of a pipe (a) to be worked so that the virtual extension line of the cutout a1 is directed to the both sides of the edge part of the pipe (a). After the pipe (a) is set in nearly horizontal state where the cutout a1 is directed upward, a shear- cutting punch 1 is lowered, and the top edge part 1a of the punch 1 which serves as a punching shear-cut-blade is put into the cutout a1, and the arcuate edge 1b of the punch 1 which serves as cutting blade is brought into contact with the inner surface of the both sides of the edge part of the pipe (a), and said part is machined in knife form. The pipe 1 is lowered further, and the punching shear- cut blade 1a is brought into contact with the lower side part of the pipe (a) corresponding to the cutout a1, and said part is shear-cut in arcuate form to form the semicircular part at the edge part of the pipe 1. |
