摘要 N-contg. polymers, with substitutable H atoms on the N atoms, are grafted with ethylenically unsatd. monomers. The novelty is that the monomers are reacted with the polymers in the presence of a water-contg. medium, carbon tetrachloride and a reducing agent pref. at room temp. Grafted N-contg. polymers and polymer membranes produced by the process above are also claimed. - The N-contg. polymers are selected from aliphatic or aromatic polyamides, polysulphonamides, polyurethanes or polymers which contain N only in side chains. The ethylenically unsatd. monomers used are hydroxyl gp. contg. monomers. Sodium dithionite is the reducing agent. Sodium dithionite is the reducing agent. Mouldings or membranes of N-contg. polymers are grafted onto the surface.
