Digital picture conversion procedure

The colour/monochrome picture processor includes a data-bank (1) with binary colour picture information, an integrator circuit (2) with angle/pin cushion correction information, a processor circuit (3) to calculate corrected values, and multiplications, addition and outputs circuits (4,5,6). Each pixel is binary coded with n bits of red/green/blue colour data, and then converted, by addition of correction data, to an m bit data word for subsequent output, m being greater than n.
