<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the disconnection of a signal line terminal by covering the signal line terminal with a first water non-permeable resin, and also, covering a corner part of the side face of a transparent substrate and a connecting substrate with a second water non-permeable resin. CONSTITUTION:A first water non-permeable resin RES1 of an epoxy resin, etc., for covering a gate terminal GTM covers a side face of the upper transparent glass substrate SUB2 and an end part of a connecting substrate FCB. Also, a second water non-permeable resin RES2 of an epoxy resin, etc., covers a corner part of a side face of the lower transparent glass substrate SUB1 and the connecting substrate FCB. Accordingly, it is prevented that moisture adheres to the gate terminal GTM part by the resin RES1 and the resin RES2, and when a scanning signal is sent out to the gate terminal GTM, even if a potential difference between the adjacent gate terminals GTM is large, it does not occur that a conductive film for constituting the gate terminal GTM is ionized. In such a way, a corrosion of the gate terminal GTM is eliminated, and a disconnection of the gate terminal GTM is prevented.</p> |
