PRODUCTION OF PEACH SKIN-LIKE WOVEN FABRIC

摘要

PURPOSE:To impart a woven fabric with a soft and drape texture and peach skin like touch by producing a woven fabric using a warp consisting of a combined and entangled filament yarn of a dissolution-splitting conjugate filament having a specific fineness after splitting and a specific high-shrinkage filament and using a weft comprising a twist yarn having a specific twist number and treating the fabric with hot alkali. CONSTITUTION:Plural kinds of polymers having dissolution rate difference are bonded with each other in a state to expose at least one of the easily soluble component to the surface to obtain a dissolution-splitting conjugate filament giving a hardly soluble component having a fineness of <=0.5 denier after the dissolution splitting treatment. A woven fabric is produced by using a warp consisting of a combined and entangled filament yarn of the above dissolution- splitting conjugate filament and a high-shrinkage filament having a boiling water shrinkage higher than that of the above filament by >=5% and using a weft comprising a twist yarn having a twist number of >=400T/M. The woven fabric is thrown into a rotary washer and treated in a hot aqueous solution of an alkali to effect the dissolution splitting treatment of the combined filament and the shrinkage treatment of the high shrinkage filament.
