Metal particles separator for ground or granulate material - uses inductive metal detector controlling operating mechanism for intermediate store

The uncleaned conveyed material with metal particles and the uncleaned conveyed material without metal particles are separated through different openings. The intermediate store has a sensor for full condition control. A blocking organ for the conveyed material is installed in-front of the metal detector. The blocking organ (12) is controlled by the inbuilt sensor (29) of the intermediate store in dependence on the full condition of the latter, i.e. to be closed or opened. The intermediate store is operated when the blocking organ is closed. The blocking organ can be cotrolled by the metal detector (19) in dependence on the presence of metal particles in the intermediate store (23). USE/ADVANTAGE - Supplying processing machine, e.g. press or injection moulding machine using plastic material granulate.
