The purpose of the solution is to improve the design of pressing diaphragm for pressing the sole of a shoe to the shoe upper. The pressing diaphragm consists of a flexible layer of elastomeric material. The above mentioned purpose is achieved by the fact that the flexible layer (21) of the elastomeric material is reinforced by textile reinforcement mesh (22). The reinforcement mesh (22) is made of rough textile, whose inter-thread structure is filled with elastomeric material of the flexible layer (21). The invention can be used in production of pressing membranes for pressing the sole of shoes to the shoe upper.
