DEVICE FOR SKIN'S BARRIER FUNCTION TESTING

摘要

The solution concerns testing barrier function of skin with use of electrical conductivity under load by iontophoresis by means of electrodes positioned on patient's skin, to which a constant current source and electrical conductivity meter are connected. The output of the conductivity meter and control input are connected to control unit, to which memory, control buttons and digital indicator are connected. With this device it is possible to automatize the whole measuring cycle and evaluate characteristic points of the electrical conductivity load curve. The device is applicable mainly in dermatology.<IMAGE>
