Carrier for automatic searing of pigs before removing croupons, where the supporting mechanism, which carries the seared pig, serves simultaneously as protection shield against effects of open fire. Both parts of the protection shield have a form of quarter sector of cylindrical coating prolonged in the bottom part so as to overlap mutually. Both parts are mounted on casings movable on guiding rods arranged in the vertical section of the carrier in the form of letter V. By shifting the parts of the protection shield on the guiding rods upwards, the distance between both parts of the protection shield increases and vice versa, therefore thanks to force exerted by weight of the pig its back part of trunk is firmly unclasped and its croupons are covered. Heat insulation is formed by clearing between the croupon and the inner surface of the protection shield.<IMAGE>
