The method and equipment allows automated control of the optimum process of flocculation by control of eddying of the liquid formed by pulsation. Pulsation is performed by rotating or pendulous paddles continually or interrupted with rest periods. The values of flow and selected physiochemical variables of raw and modified water are processed in the control centre, which sends out commands for control of the doses of flocculant and paddle frequency.<IMAGE>
