PURPOSE:To maintain a specified heating temp. and to suppress the fluctuation at the time of hardening to a low level by detecting the surface temp. of a heating region with an IR sensor, converting the output thereof to a voltage, amplifying the voltage and controlling the laser output according to the fluctuation from the set value. CONSTITUTION:A work 5 is irradiated with a laser beam 2 and the heating region 4 is formed. An IR ray 6 is emitted according to the temp. of the heating region 4 and enters an IR sensor 7. The slight current corresponding to the incident IR quantity is outputted and is passed through a converter 8, by which the current is converted to the voltage. This voltage is amplified. The voltage value is inputted to a comparator 9 and a lamp 11 is lighted if the value is off the upper and lower limits of the initial set value corresponding to the temp. The fluctuation of the laser output is sent by a comparator 9 to a control ler 10 when the temp. changes to the value off the set value. The output of a laser oscillator 1 is then controlled. |
