The acoustic reader for electronic musical instruments is characterized by high sensitivity and improvement of mechanical properties. It consists of a casing from the non-magnetic material, whose one-sided opened cavity contains a permanent magnet between two elastic layers, while the casing of the acoustic reader is equipped on its outer surface with a winding, further on the side of its opening with a flange for the possibility of a close-connection with the active board. The casing and permanent magnet is to advantage arranged in the shape of a cylinder. Optimally, the active board is plastic.<IMAGE>
