<p>PURPOSE:To easily form the projecting part with high accuracy by bringing the drum holder into contact with the fixed cylinder, moving the tip of pressing tool, bringing it into contact with the inside peripheral wall of the fixed cylinder and forming the projecting part for preventing the vibration of tape at that peripheral wall. CONSTITUTION:The fixed cylinder 20 to be used on the rotary magnetic head cylinder is clamped at the chuck 13 of the end of the main shaft 10 of the numerically controlled lathe A. Then, the drum holder 40 is brought into contact with the fixed cylinder 20. The tip of the press tool 30 fixed as that state at the tool rest 80 of the numerically controlled lathe A is moved with the action of the lathe A. And the tip of the tool 30 is brought into contact with the inner peripheral wall of the fixed cylinder 20 and forms the projecting part for preventing vibration of tape on the peripheral wall of the fixed cylinder 20. Therefore, the position of the projecting part and the shape of the projecting part are easily changed.</p> |
