TITLE Hybrid Acrylic Star Polymers and Preparation Hybrid star polymrs with functional acrylic arms and crosslinked cores are made by condensation reactions with the functional groups on the arms, preferably with the arms made by group transfer polymerization. Star polymers may be used in a variety of end-uses e.g. to improve impact strength of polymer resins, as viscosity modifiers, dispersants and blends with other polymers to provide compositions of good clarity.
