A combination valve formed of a valve body (10) having a flow passageway (14) therethrough and an opening in the top (18) communicating with the passageway. The body receives a rotating member (24), within the flow passageway (14). The rotating member (24) has a flow passageway (26) alignable with the body's passageway (14) and has a top opening (28) communicating with the passageway through the rotating member. A checking mechanism (30) supported within the rotating member may move from a closed position blocking the passageway to an open position. A bonnet (38) removably closes the body top opening (18). An inner bonnet (42) rotatably receives a stem (48) having the inner end connected to the rotating member. The member (24) thereby rotatable to permit the flow of fluid in one direction, the checking mechanism (30) blocking fluid flow in the opposite direction. |
