<p>PURPOSE:To ensure a natural editing way by manually vibrating a pen to perform the input of the text data and detecting the manual vibrations to correspond to a fact that an editing command is selected. CONSTITUTION:A user moves repetitively a pen 4 three times in the lateral direction (character erasing actions) with a contact kept between the pen 4 and a sensor 3. In this case, the lateral pulses are outputted from the pen 4 by an amount equal to the repeating frequency. At the same time, the position data are repetitively outputted from the sensor 3. An action detecting means 12 receives the lateral pulses and outputs the action data. A position detecting means 11 receives the position data and outputs the coordinate data. A deciding means 13 decides the deleting instruction selected by the user and outputs both action and coordinate data to a command recognizing means 18. A text editing means 19 deletes some characters out of the text data stored in a storage part 16 and simultaneously sends a control signal to a display means 17 to display the text data after the deletion of a character string.</p> |
