PURPOSE:To improve space-saving design by providing a bias member which applies a bias having the opposite polarity from the electrostatic charging polarity of toner to a circumscribed roller provided at a position behind a transfer process. CONSTITUTION:An endless beltlike photosensitive body 20 is provided longitudinally long by an inscribed driving roller 70, a transfer roller 72 and a driven roller 71, and at least one circumscribed roller 73 so that the interval of the center part in the belt is narrow in width. There is therefore no unnecessary space and respective processes unit are only arranged around the photosensitive body 20, so a device main body becomes a thin type and the space-saving design is enabled. The circumscribed roller 73 provided at the position behind the transfer process is applied with the bias having the opposite polarity from the toner, so an electrostatic discharging cleaning function can be displayed to the photosensitive body 20 and a layout which improves the space-saving design according to the intrusion position of a cleaning means is obtained. |
