PURPOSE:To carry out economical sludge treatment and disposal by carrying out twisting movement of a cylindrical filter uniformly and naturally, dewatering and separating a sludge, and solidifying the sludge. CONSTITUTION:A shaft rod 21 to twist and move a cylindrical filter 5 while unitedly rotating with a shaft 9 is connected to the pipe shaft 9 at the lower end of the shaft line. The shaft rod 21 is so supported by a shaft rod supporting part 24 projected in the inside of a cover 23 which opens or closes an open part at the lower end of the filter 5 as to be inserted and detached following opening and closing the cover 23. Pipe shaft rotary systems 30, 33 for transmitting twisting motion to the filter 5 by rotating the shaft 9 are installed and a means 34 to discharge water from a cylinder 4 is installed. A sludge thrown to the filter 5 from a sludge flowing inlet 11 of the shaft 9 through a sludge sending branched tube 16 is dewatered by twisting and water is discharged outside and solidified sludge in the filter 5 is discharged outside as well. As a result, economical sludge treatment is carried out. |
