PURPOSE:To prevent service interruption by predicting total load currents when a new apparatus is started during the supply of electric power through one breaker to a plurality of apparatus and inhibiting the starting of the new apparatus when the power exceeds the rating of the breaker is predicted. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of load such as an air conditioner 1, an electronic oven 2 and a receptacle 3 are connected through one breaker (a fuse) 11. Each load 1-3 has operating section 4-6 and ammeters 7-9, and these signal outputs are input to a controller 10. The controller 10 previously takes in the working currents of a currently used apparatus, and predicts total load currents by information from the operating section of an apparatus to be newly connected. The controller 10 permits the connection of the new apparatus when predicted total load currents are under the rating or less of the breaker, but the controller 10 inhibits the connection of the new apparatus or conducts the stoppage or reduction of the apparatus, priority of which is low, when predicted total load currents exceeds the rating. Thus the simultaneous stop of all the loads can be prevented. |
