PURPOSE:To automatically perform the removal of a fine iron powder by passing a magnetic element through a non-magnetic pipe so as to position the same in either one of iron removing chambers. CONSTITUTION:A raw material is supplied to a branch pipe 6 by a damper 8 to flow down between non-magnetic pipes 3. When a fine iron powder is mixed in the raw material, only said iron component is attracted to the outer peripheral surfaces of the respective non-magnetic pipes 3 by the magnetic force of a magnetic element 4 and the raw material after the removal of iron is discharged to the pipe 3 through a discharge pipe 10 and a damper 12 to perform the removal of iron out of the raw material. Dampers 8, 11, 12 are changed over periodically and the magnetic element 4 is also moved toward the iron removing chamber 1 to guide the raw material to the iron removing chamber 1 through a branch pipe 5. By this method, the cleaning of a fine iron powder can be performed. |
