The present invention relates to a plate heat exchanger comprising two end plates (1, 2) and clamped therebetween several heat transfer plates (3) and at least one connection plate (4) to divide the heat exchanger in at least two from each other sealed sections (A, B), wherein said plates are provided with essentially aligned openings through which openings a detachable tube (5, 6) extends and forms at least one inlet passage (7) for a heat transfer fluid. According to the invention the plate heat exchanger comprises an inlet means (21) located in the connection plate (4) with at least one sealing ring (24) arranged around the opening passing through the connection plate and a device to compress the sealing ring (24), in which the sealing ring (24) from a first position radially outside the limiting edge of the openings is brought to a second position wherein the sealing ring (24) at least partly is located radially within the limiting edge of the opening and sealingly abuts against said tube (5). |
