<p>PURPOSE:To accurately monitor the traveling condition of a medium by providing transfer rollers with a sensor function for detecting the presence of a medium, so that the presence of the medium can be directly detected by the transfer rollers. CONSTITUTION:A medium 1 is successively fed and transferred by transfer rollers 3 in the inside of a transfer passage 2. In this case, the transfer rollers 3 through which the medium 1 is passed output detecting signals for the dedium 1 by the sensor function thereof. And, the transfer rollers 3 are arranged at intervals less than the shortest feeding length of the medium 1 to prevent the stagnation of the medium 1. Thus, independently of the position of the medium 1 in the transfer passage 2, some one of the transfer rollers 3 can detect the medium 1, so that the actual transfer position can be securely monitored.</p> |
