<p>PURPOSE: To constantly maintain proper pressure either in the middle of driving a washer body or in the middle of stopping it by closing communication of a by-pass conduit and a by-pass chamber as a valve element moves when fluid pressure of an upstream side conduit is higher than that of a downstream side conduit. CONSTITUTION: A pressure washer 10 is furnished with a by-pass system 14 between a pump module 12 and a hose assembly 18, a by-pass chamber 60 is formed in its housing 58, fluid flows in an upstream side chamber 54 from a conduit 52, and thereafter, fluid is delivered to the assembly 18 through a channel 64 of a valve element 70 and a downstream side channel 62. This valve element 70 controls movement of liquid flowing in the upstream side chamber 54 to flow in the by-pass conduit 56 and opens the channel to the by-pass conduit 56 when downstream side pressure of the chamber 60 exceeds upstream side pressure. Consequently, it is possible to constantly maintain proper pressure either in the middle of driving a washer main body or in the middle of stopping it.</p> |
