PURPOSE:To prevent the unnecessary interference of infrared light and to perform accurate range-finding by cancelling a range-finding signal when light other than the infrared light for range-finding is received in the midst of actuating a range-finding means. CONSTITUTION:When a remote control signal is received by turning on a remote control switch 35, the photometry is performed by a photometry circuit 26 and the range-finding is performed by an infrared light emission circuit 28 and an AF light reception circuit 29. Whether or not the light other than the AF infrared light is received by a remote control reception circuit 25 is checked in the midst of the above action. When the light other than the infrared light is not received, the range-finding is continued and the action of the reception circuit 25 is stopped. When the signal other than the AF infrared light is received in the midst of range-finding, an instruction signal is transmitted to a microcomputer 24 and the range-finding action is stopped and then performed again. When the number of range-finding times exceeds a specified number, an warning that the range-finding is impossible is given. |
