PURPOSE:To produce a chassis used for electric and electronic apparatus, excellent in the heat resistance, rigidity, and dimensional stability, and free from crazing by molding a resin compd. obtd. by compounding specified amts. of a specific styrene-maleic anhydride copolymer, a specific thermoplastic elastomer, and a glassfiber. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. styrene-maleic anhydride copolymer contg. 3-20mol% maleic anhydride (deriv.) units, 1-30pts.wt. thermoplastic elastomer (e.g. MBS) contg. 5-50wt.% styrene units, and 5-80pts.wt. glassfiber are compounded to give a resin compd., which is molded into a chassis. |
