PURPOSE: To make sure a core-fixed heel piece position for application on a difficult slope by holding the heel piece in a core-fixed position through a motion connective engaging element. CONSTITUTION: An engaging rocking element 13 is charged a load by two coaxial coil springs 15, 16 born in a binding casing 7 through a piston 14 in which the pre-load of those springs is adjusted by an adjusting screw 17. A plate inserter 18 made of plastic extending in parallel with a base 6b is fixed to the inside of a bearing block 6. The inserter has flanges 18a1, 18a2 projecting downward in its lengthwise range as well as a plate spring 19 serving as an engaging element placed between the inserter 18 and a projection 4a of the square cross sectional base board. This constitution enables a beginner skier to diagonally take off the heel piece with an engaging device under control. |
