<p>PURPOSE:To accurately obtain coordinate data for parallax correction by forming the data based on the coordinate data generated in a period other than the one immediately after a coordinate indicator tool comes in contact with a coordinate body and the one just before it is separated from the coordinate body. CONSTITUTION:In a mode to fetch the coordinate data, the coordinate data at a position indicated by a pen 10 is detected based on a signal supplied from a tablet 11 while the pen 10 comes in contact with the tablet 11. A timing is supplied to a system controller 1, and also, the coordinate data is supplied to a RAM 4 under the control of the system controller 1. Thus, the coordinate data for parallax correction is formed based on the coordinate data generated in the period other than the one immediately after the coordinate indicator tool comes in contact with the coordinate body and the one just before it is separated from the coordinate body, then, parallax correction is performed. In such a way, accurate position detection can be performed at a stable state where no shaking of the coordinate indicator tool occurs, and the coordinate data for parallax correction can be accurately obtained.</p> |
