PURPOSE:To obtain the title tasty grain requiring no washing in its cooking with its fissure development and crushed rice production prevented, for use in e.g. mountaineering by immersing grain in broth from a seasoning material such as tangle to effect absorption to the saturated state and by immersing the resultant grain in hot water. CONSTITUTION:Polished or unpolished rice or other grain is immersed in broth from a seasoning material such as tangle, 'siitake' or dried bonito or a single article of nutritive material or mixture thereof to effect absorption to the saturated state. The resultant grain is either immersed in hot water for 2 to 3sec or steamed in e.g. a rice cooker followed by drying, thus obtaining the objective grain. |
