<p>PURPOSE:To simplify the control signal network and to reduce manhour required for maintenance work by detecting an alarm signal even from a line connected from a receiver side transmission line to a sender side transmission line not through a line termination and converting the alarm signal into a different kind of alarm signal upon the receipt of the former alarm signal at a transmission terminal station equipment. CONSTITUTION:A line 13 connecting from a line in a receiver side transmission line 5 and a line in a sender side transmission line 8 is wired through a detection conversion section 1 for an alarm and continuity signal together with line setting sections 2, 2' and transmission termination sections 3, 3', and the detection conversion section 1 detects an alarm or continuity signal sent through the line 13. Moreover, upon the detection of an alarm signal generated from a conventional transmission terminal station equipment, the detection conversion section 1 converts it into a different kind of alarm signal. Thus, the control signal network is simplified and the man-hour required for maintenance is reduced.</p> |
