PURPOSE: To simplify the assembling work of an external heat sink by making one or more parallel open slots vertically in the major surface of a coupling on the side of a package opposite to the side coupled with the base part of connecting pin. CONSTITUTION: An external heat sink 7 is assembled on a circuit card 6 where soldering of elements has been finished by bringing the coupling face 8 of a metal heat sink 7 close to the back face of devices 10, 11 and then lowering the heat sink 7 (as shown by an arrow) until the stem of a fastening screw 12, preliminarily engaged partially with a screw hole preliminarily made in the heat sink body 7, slides into an open-end slow or a notch 4, 5, 14 opening to the side of a device opposite to the side coupled with the base part of the pin 2. Assembling work can be finished at that moment of time by simply fastening the screw 12 on the surface of a resin package. |
