<p>A time-of-flight mass-spectrometer comprises, mounted in a vacuum chamber (1), an ion detector (2), a target (4), a drift space (5) and a reflector (6). The end-face of the chamber (1) is provided with a window (10) behind which, outside the chamber (1) and coaxially to the target (4) is located a laser emission source (12). The mass-spectrometer is preferably intended for analyzing the mass and isotope composition of substances.</p> |
