<p>Dispensing apparatus has a resilient, hollow seal member (47, 121) engaged on an expending member (38, 137) which is tapered so that relative axial movement causes the seal member (47, 121) to be radially expanded into contact with the neck (56, 142) of a container (10, 133) of material to be dispensed. Dispensing fluid enters the container (10, 133) through a fluid inlet passage (35, 128) which passes through the expanding member (38, 137).
