New reactive dyestuffs are 10-amino-3-substd.-amino -4,11-bis(substd. alkylsulphonyl) -triphendioxazine cpds. of formula (I): where R1-2 = H, Cl, Br, 1-4C alkyl, 1-4C alkoxy, (substd.) phenyl or (substd.) phenoxy; the R gps. = 1-4C alkyl, 1-4C alkoxy, halogen, carboxy, carbamoyl, N-1-4C alkylcarbamoyl, N,N-di-1-4C alkylcarbamoyl, 1-4C alkylsulphonyl, sulphamoyl, N-1-4C alkylsulphamoyl or N,N-di-1-4C alkylsulphamoyl; n = 0, 1 or 2; T = =(CH2)m-U, -NR3-(CH2)m-U or -(CH2)m-Phe-U (Phe = phenylene); U = -SO3H, -OSO3H, -OH or -COOH; R3 = H or (substd. 1-4C alkyl; m = 2, 3, 4 or 5; X = -N(R4)-A-N(R5)-Y; R4-5 = H or (substd.) 1-4C alkyl; A = 2-4C alkylene, opt. substd. by halogen, -OH, -COOH, -SO2H, phenyl, sulphophenyl or 1-4C alkoxycarbonyl; or cyclohexylene, opt. substd. by 1-4C alkyl; or -N(R4)-AN(R5)- = 1,4-piperazindiyl; Y = a reactive gp.. USE/ADVANTAGE - (I) are claimed for dyeing and printing,. esp. of cellulose fibres. They are esp. suitable for dyeing cotton but may also be used with fibres contg. N, e.g. wool, silk and mixed fibres contg. wool. (I) give bright blue tones, have high reactivity and good build-up, giving good exhaustion and a high deg. of fixing, and have good fastness, esp. to wet and light.
