Beaker like packaging with sterile seal - has tear off tab cut free from foil and folded onto cover part
摘要
The beaker-like packaging is deep drawn in a continuous web from thermosetting plastics and then closed by a sealable covering web. After the covering foil is connected to the flange (3) of the container through the closed sealing seam (6) and before the latter is cut out from the connected webs a tab (5) is cut free from the cover foil web extending outwards from the sealing seam (6). The tab is folded round at the sealing seam onto the part of the cover foil web covering the opening (2) of the container. The container can be shaped, filled and closed in one chamber with a sterile atmosphere. USE/ADVANTAGE - For baby food packaging wherein the tear-off tab of the cover plate projects over the circumference of the flange and is then folded back 180 deg onto the plate.
