METHOD FOR PREPARING TWO DIMENSIONAL CRYSTAL FILM OF PROTEIN

PURPOSE:To automatically prepare an uniform unimolecular film and facilitate preparation of the title crystalline film by charging an aqueous solution of protein into a film forming chamber in a trough, etc., and introducing a specific carrying liquid capable of exhibiting absorbing properties to a protein molecule on the surface of aqueous solution of the protein into the chamber. CONSTITUTION:An aqueous solution of protein is charged into a recessed part having water repellent properties and produced from Teflon(R) resin or film forming chamber in trough and then a carrying liquid having primary amino capable of exhibiting absorbing properties to protein molecule of the aqueous solution surface of the protein and forming an uniform liquid film having fluidity in traverse direction and consisting of dehydroabiethylamine expressed by the formula (n is 1-4; R is H or primary aminoalkyl) and derivative thereof is introduced thereto at amount capable of forming >=1000Angstrom surface film to provide the aimed crystalline film.
