<p>An improvement is provided in the method of transmitting information by telecopying, whereby a portion of the information is highlighted. The method comprises optically scanning an information-containing surface to convert the visible information on said surface to electronic data form, and transmitting the electronic data form to a distant receiver, the improvement comprises applying onto a portion of the information-containing surface and covering a portion of the information, a half-tone screen, to result in a highlighted or shadowed portion (13) in the copy as received by the telecopy receiver.</p> |
