The thermodynamic system uses a combustion engine (MOT) which is mechanically coupled to an electrical generator (GE1) and thermally coupled to thermal energy stores (WWSP, HZSP, ERSP), with the waste heat of the combustion engine (MOT) recovered via an absorption heat pump (AWP). Pref. the combustion engine (MOT) has a synchronous clutch on the output side, with an electromagnetic clutch (KP) used to couple the engine to a flywheel energy store (SRSP) acting as a rotor of an asynchronous motor.
