PURPOSE:To obtain a carcinogenic promotion inhibitor, containing Ligustici Radix or Lithospermi Radix or a substance of the same effects as those as an active ingredient and useful for preventing carcinogenesis. CONSTITUTION:An carcinogenic inhibitor containing Ligustici Radix and Lithospermi Radix which are constituent ingredients of 'SHIUNKO' (an ointment containing sesame oil, beeswax, the Ligustici Radix, Lithospermi Radix, etc.) capable of remarkably exhibiting proliferation inhibitory effects on wart which is human benign tumor or a substance of the same effects as those or an extract thereof as an active ingredient. The aforementioned substance of the same effects include plants of the same genus as that of the Ligustici Radix and Lithospermi Radix containing similar ingredients and substances dealt with as a substitute for the same uses in the market and dried root of Angelica sinensis Diels, Angelica gigas Nakai, Macrotomiae Radix, etc., are cited. The extract includes extract essences obtained by extraction with water, a hydrophilic organic solvent or a mixture thereof and distillates produced by steam distillation. |
