PURPOSE:To obtain a complex carcinostatic agent, containing human lymphotoxin having a specific amino acid sequence and interferon-gamma and capable of exhibiting excellent antitumor effects with hardly any side effects. CONSTITUTION:A complex carcinostatic agent containing a human lymphotoxin (Hu-LT), prepared by a genetic recombination method and expressed by formula I (X is formula II, Met-His-Leu-Ala-His or Met-His-Leu-Ala) and interferon-gamma(IFN-gamma) at (10000/1)-(1/10000), preferably (100/1)-(1/10) ratio of Hu-LT /IFN-gamma. Although administration of (3-5)X10<6>u/kg is required for producing effects in the case of the LT alone, a dose of (0.3-1.3)X10<6>u/kg is preferred for a mixture of the LT with IFN-gamma at 1:1 blending ratio. |
