A paper punch comprises a base part (10), a pressure lever (18) which is pivotally mounted on lateral pillow blocks of the base part (10) and which acts, against the restoring force of a spring (28), on a hole punch slidingly guided on the base part (10), and an impact element (32) which is arranged on the pressure lever (18) and which strikes an impact shoulder (26) arranged on the pillow blocks (14) against the restoring force of the spring (28). The impact element (32) is a one-piece plastic slider (32) which moves perpendicular to the pressure lever between two end positions. In one end position, when the pressure lever (18) is depressed, the impact element forms a lower limit stop which rests against the impact shoulder (26) whereas in the other end position, it frees the pivoting path of the pressure lever (18). |
