PURPOSE:To enhance the matchabilities with printing machinery and, further, to also enhance the stability of an image by containing globular porous com pound particles in a thermal recording material. CONSTITUTION:Globular porous compound particles may have an SL or SP value of about 4.0 or less and has a void volume of 0.1ml/g or more as an essential condition. When the porous compound particles are contained in an undercoat layer, the advantage thereof is further put to practical use. In this case, one having oil absorbancy of 100ml/100g or less is selected especially pref. As the porous compound particles, alkaline earth carbonate, alkaline earth metal silicate or metal oxide being an inorg. compound and a urea/formalin resin or a styrenic resin being an org. compound are used. |
