<p>PURPOSE:To hinder the formation of a local cell on the inside of the pipe of a joint piece and to prevent selective corrosion by forming an amorphous alloy plating film on the inside of the pipe of the joint piece composed of different materials joined by a method other than electric welding and carrying out passivation treatment. CONSTITUTION:A pipe 2 of a material having low corrosion resistance such as a Zr or Ti alloy and a pipe 3 of a material having high corrosion resistance such as austenitic stainless steel are joined by a method other than electric welding, e.g. through an HIP joined part 4. The resulting joint piece 1 is put in a constant-temp. plating vessel 7 contg. a plating soln. 5 for amorphous alloy plating such as Ni-W-P plating and a heater 6, an amorphous alloy plating film 8 of 50-200mum thickness is formed on the inside of the pipe of the joint piece 1 by electroless plating and passivation treatment is carried out to prevent corrosion.</p> |
