Two motors (5, 6) orthogonal drive shafts (4, 3) are provided for wireless remote control of the direction of a lamp mounted on a U-shaped support (2). Encoded commands are transmitted by infrared beam from a portable keypad (7) to a receiver. The lamp (1) has a flattened adaptor (10) on each lateral surface parallel to the limbs of the U, secured by a threaded bolt (11) constituting the axis of rotation at one side, and by the output shaft (12) at the other. ADVANTAGE - Various lamps can be fitted into holder comprising few, universally-available basic elements.
