Rope clamp for mine windings - has cross bar with support rollers and clamps

The rope clamp consists of a crossbar with two right-angled end projections riding a substructure via rollers plus clamps working with the crossbar to suit the number of winding ropes involved. The crossbar should consists of several rigidly joined segments (13-15), the clamps (16-19) held in the centre segment (14) which can swivel round a horizontal axis in realtion to the two outer segments via journels (24,25), using screw (22) to join the segments together. USE/ADVANTAGE - Mine winding systems. Clamp combines clamping pressure action with traction as required, using easily adjusted swivel centre clamp crossbar segment, reducing rope lengthing or shortening time.
