PURPOSE:To make a pressing force act effectively by providing a rigid conductive part so shaped as to transmit the pressing force to a polarized electrode layer of a capacitor cell but not to transmit it to a sealing substance of the capacitor cell. CONSTITUTION:A rigid conductive part formed by thickening the central part of the bottom 1b of a case so that it projects inward, for the purpose of transmitting a pressing force to a polarized electrode layer 5b of a capacitor cell 5 but not transmitting it to a sealing substance 5a of the capacitor cell 5, is provided. When a pressure is applied to the capacitor cell 5 by calking the edge part of an opening of a case 1, accordingly, the pressing force is transmitted to the polarized electrode layer 5b but not transmitted to the sealing substance 5a due to the existence of the rigid conductive part. When the pressing force is transmitted by the rigid conductive part, according to this constitution, the pressing force is utilized very effectively and, consequently, calking is effected by a weaker force than usual when the same pressure as usual is applied to the polarized electrode layer 5b. |
