PURPOSE:To attain the system working as if a target microprocessor were available by combining a target microprocessor simulator with a signal converting/producing part. CONSTITUTION:A definer which defined the working of a target microprocessor is stored in a definer memory 1. A signal converting/producing part 3 converts the input signal to be applied to a target microprocessor simulator 2 in accordance with the logic specifications of the definer and the signal specifications. At the same time, the input/output signal to be supplied to a target microprocessor socket via an interface 4 is also converted by the part 3 based on the specifications of the definer. Then the simulator 2 simulates the working of the target microprocessor. As a result, the action of a microprocessor applied equipment can be checked even with the absence of the target microprocessor. |
