PURPOSE:To prevent occurrence of image defects due to defects on the surface of a support, to enhance image quality and stability by successively laminating on the support a resin layer and a conductive metallic layer and a photosensitive layer 4. CONSTITUTION:The thick resin layer 5 smooth on the surface is formed on the support 1, the conductive metallic layer 6 is formed on the layer 5, and the photosensitive layer 4 is formed on the layer 6, thus permitting defects, such as roughness, on the surface of the support 1 to be hidden by the thick resin layer 5, accordingly, the conductive substrate having the electrically stable smooth surface to be obtained in spite of whatever state of the support 1, i.e., even if the support 1 high in the surface roughness is used, therefore, occurrence of image defects due to the surface defects of the support to be prevented, and image quality and stability to be enhanced. |
