<p>The present invention relates to a vehicle with tiltable caterpillar-tracked drive units, the vehicle being suitable as a robot for working in hostile environments. Each of the four identical drive units (3) is provided with a caterpillar track (4), an integral drive motor to drive this track, and a tilt motor, also integral, to tilt it according to need by rotation about a transverse shaft (5). In addition, it is easily removable and hence replaceable, particularly in the event of a breakdown. The body of the vehicle (2) has no mechanical members.
