<p>PURPOSE:To quickly and economically detect and regulate a congested state generating in a packet switching unit by providing a sequence number attaching means at every input relay line, a sequence number judging means at every output relay line, and a congestion information generating means at every output relay line. CONSTITUTION:A pair control means 100 sets a packet transfer route symmetrically in each of speech path switching parts 1-1 and 1-2, and the sequence number attaching means 200 attaches a consecutive sequence number on a packet arriving from the input relay line 11 at every virtual channel on the output relay line 12 which transmits the packet via the speech path switching parts 1-1 and 1-2. Also, the sequence number deciding means 300 detects the discontinuity of a sequence number attached on the packet being sent at every virtual channel on the output relay line 12, and the congestion information generating means 400 generates congestion notice information in the case of detecting the discontinuity of the sequence number, and returns it to the virtual channel on the output relay line 12. In such a manner, it is possible to easily and quickly detect congestion generated in the packet switching unit, and to quickly perform transmission regulation.</p> |
